Maternity Photos

A photographer friend of mine did our maternity photos for us Friday on Folly Beach! We decided to do them at 7am, to beat the traffic and the sun! It was still a little hot, but not that bad! I dont think Ive ever seen Folly Beach so empty! Our session was about an hour long, and Kaity did such an AMAZING job. And everyone knows how picky I am choosing a personal photographer! We even have her booked for our birth photography - so Im super excited!

Heres a few of my favorites :)

Ok.. that might have been more then a few! What can I say.. I really like them :)

Please go check out Kaity Williamson!

Jonthan Ray Wood has ARRIVED!!!

We have all been patiently waiting for Jonthan to arrive, but no one expected him to come a week early! Brandy had no complications, and it was a pretty smooth delivery! Of course we all took bets on what time he would be here! Brandy got induced at 7am-ish and had her water broke about 12ish! Richard and Mom had times before 6pm.. but I was pretty sure he wouldn't be here till after 7pm! Sure enough I was correct..

Jonthan arrived at 7:05pm! 6lb. 11oz. & 20in. Long

What do you do in the hospital all day to help keep a 5 year old entertained... Take pictures of course!

Second Trimester

Surviving Pregnancy: The Second Trimester.

This trimester was a little harder for me! I grew much faster during these weeks! Still no appetite or cravings! We found out the reason I was so sick my first trimester and most of the second trimester because we had mold underneath the house! Once we got that cleared out, I felt better. Except for being exhausted! I felt like I got more exhausted every day! Im not sure what happened to the "pregnancy glow" that everyone talks about, because I defiantly did not get that! haha. My hair got so dry and brittle and I started breaking out again! Luckily not much, thanks to my Mary Kay routine!

18weeks, 3days

12weeks, 6days

12weeks, 6days

The 3D ultra sounds are really creepy! Its kinda cool at the same time because you can see more of the details with the baby! It defiantly has my nose!

Gender Reveal PARTY

Last Monday I had my monthly doctor appointment and ultrasound at 18 weeks 3 days. We were pretty excited about this ultrasound because we were finding out the sex of the baby! Even know we knew the sex as we had the ultrasound tech check it at 12weeks. Its not always accurate at that time, but we couldn't hold out! Lol. Well the sex didn't change - so we were SUPER excited and cant wait to tell everyone!!

We had a cookout planned for Sunday at our house and had invited both our families for a gender reveal. Are family was pretty divided, half wanted boy and half wanted girl! Here is one of the ultrasound pictures. It was hard to get a good picture bc the baby kept moving around! So active!

Baby was measuring right on time. Heartbeat was very strong! After the ultrasound we met with the doctor. We chatted a little about upcoming things like the glucose test, talked about how we decided against all testing for genetic abnormalities and set up our next appointment.

Sunday we cooked out and all our families came over. I think we had close to 20 people there. We had everyone chose between team boy or team girl! I even had a little poem out to help them decide! All that did was confuse them more! But it was so fun hearing all the debate!

After all the fun of trying to decide what we were having we decided to get the show on the road!

This little girl is so loved already. The reaction of our family & closest friends was just amazing!
